FANS UNITE TO HONOR STAN LEE

Over a career spanning seven decades, Stan Lee has entertained and inspired generations of fans around the world. The characters he helped create are recognized and revered across the globe. How many children have learned to read using his words? How many moral compasses have been shaped by his stories of good vs. evil? 

Now it's our turn to say thanks. In 2017, Stan will celebrate his 95th birthday, his 70th wedding anniversary, and the 78th anniversary of the day he started as an assistant filling inkwells at Timely Comics. Legion M is organizing fans around the world for the first ever FAN LED tribute to Stan.

So what do you give a guy who has everything? One of the rarest accolades in Hollywood--his handprints in cement at the TCL Chinese Theater on Hollywood Boulevard. 

The handprint ceremony at the TCL Chinese Theater is a time-honored tradition dating back to the 1920's. Stars throughout the ages -- from Groucho Marx to Darth Vader -- have been immortalized forever in one of the rarest and most distinguished honors in the entertainment industry. People travel from around the world to visit one of Hollywood's most famous landmarks, and witness first-hand this one-of-a-kind piece of pop culture history. 

Stan's ceremony will be unique in that it will be the first in history to be presented by FANS.

Typically, handprint ceremonies are sponsored by studios, who use the worldwide publicity and exposure to promote a film. In Stan's case, this honor will be given by the FANS. We're giving a limited number of fans the opportunity to join the party, give thanks to one of the greatest storytellers of our time, and BE A PART OF HOLLYWOOD HISTORY!
