An American illustrator based outside of New York City. His style plays heavily on use of light and shadow and combines afro-futurist elements with hints of fantasy, hip-hop and punk culture and his love of cinematography. His works have been praised as a successful fusion of his Eastern and Western influences. In a short span of time his artwork has become a source of inspiration to many artists in the black community. This recognition afforded him the opportunity to create album artwork for MARVEL’S “BLACK PANTHER: THE ALBUM”, produced by Kendrick Lamar.

He was part of the team that was nominated for the 33rd Annual GLAAD Media Award for Outstanding Comic Book with their work on Star Wars: Doctor Aphra.

Just a few of his noteworthy credits as a director of film and television include Falcon Crest, Fame, Hill Street Blues and Dallas, as well as Sister Act 2: Back in the Habit (1993) and Get Rich or Die Trying (2005). Duke can also be seen in front of the camera in both features and TV, including Predator (1987), Commando (1985), and CW’s Black Lightning. Bill has been on Legion M’s Advisory board since 2019.

Jones recently released his impressive independent project Everything's Nothing, which features standout tracks "7 Eleven" and "Lean On Me." His other acting credits include voicing “Tombstone” in Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse and guest roles on shows like Into the Dark and Harry’s Law.
