Wile E. Coyote at his drawing table, mid-plan, surrounded by every idea that has ever failed him.
Chuck Jones gave the chase a fake Latin name in almost every short. This one is for the Coyote himself.
Ben filled this one with references. Most of them you will not catch on the first look, and that is the idea. We will publish the full list later.
On September 17, 1949, Chuck Jones released "Fast and Furry-ous", the first cartoon where a coyote chased a road runner. Everything since traces back to that one short. 77 years later, this is the third piece in the series.
Wile E. Coyote is back on screens in Coyote vs. ACME. This is not film merchandise. It is original fine art by Ben Olson, a licensed Warner Bros., Disney and Hanna-Barbera artist and a board member of the Chuck Jones Center for Creativity, released through Legion M with the Chuck Jones Gallery.
Also in the collection: open edition prints and signed artist sketches of the first two pieces, and the Genius Series 1 cards. Shop the collection.
